Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY customer base and achieve sales objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic auto parts knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Part-time or full-time positions are available, with fleet safety certification preferred. The Salesperson will assist customers in-store and by phone, perform DIY services, manage inventory, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English clearly and effectively.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for transactions and measurements.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus in customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers, in-store and by phone.
• Help store achieve sales goals and personal targets.
• Offer DIY services such as battery installation and wiper changes.
• Maintain store product presentation and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including stocking and cycle counts.
