Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store systems familiarity and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

Position can be part-time or full-time; candidates should be able to work a schedule including evenings and weekends and provide friendly service while maintaining store standards and accuracy in inventory and checkout tasks.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in retail, delivering great customer service.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs to assist customers.
• Ability to use math for transactions and inventory management.
• Willingness to work limited days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and assist the store in meeting overall targets.
• Perform DIY services like battery installation and wiper installs as needed.
• Maintain inventory processes including stock handling and cycle counts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize shelves and back stock.
