Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY customer, learn basic automotive knowledge, and meet sales/service goals. This entry-level role may be part-time or full-time and requires strong customer service and basic store systems proficiency.

Responsibilities include assisting customers in-person and over the phone, performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs, maintaining inventory, and keeping the store clean and organized while complying with

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers
• Ability to operate inventory systems and store equipment
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
