Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business with knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and customer service. The role may be part-time or full-time and may require weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include providing excellent selling experiences, hitting personal sales goals, performing DIY services like battery installations and wiper replacements, and maintaining inventory and store standards while safely handling parts and deliveries.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business.
• Basic knowledge of store systems and automotive parts.
• Fleet safety certification preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
