Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with store and inventory systems. It can be part-time or full-time, with safety certification preferred.

The position emphasizes delivering excellent customer experiences, assisting with DIY services, and maintaining inventory and store standards while working a flexible schedule that includes weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and write English.
• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Weekend and evening shifts as needed.
• Basic math and ability to read and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store achieve its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Oversee inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Keep store clean and organized, including floors and restrooms.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
