Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store-system familiarity, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

The position offers both part-time or full-time options. Responsibilities include in-store and phone sales, DIY service tasks such as battery installations and wiper replacements, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; communication with customers, peers, and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide, in all units.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers visiting or calling.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, restrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
