Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service goals. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and sourcing from multiple channels.

It offers part-time or full-time schedules with fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include assisting customers in-store and by phone, performing DIY services like battery and wiper installations, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively with customers, peers and management
• Read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions
• Use basic math for transactions and measurements
• Ability to work various shifts including weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries
• Achieve personal and store sales goals
• Offer DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs)
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Handle inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock)
• Keep store clean and organized; stock shelves and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
