Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive concepts, and basic parts knowledge.

Sources include stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. Part-time or full-time with fleet safety certification preferred. Key duties include assisting DIY customers in person and by phone, achieving personal and store sales goals, and performing services like battery

Qualifications

2–3 years of sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
Knowledge of basic automotive systems and parts.
Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock.
Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
