Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business with basic automotive knowledge and store systems proficiency. The role can be part time or full time, requiring walking, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working flexible hours to serve customers in-store and by phone.

Key duties include driving sales, performing battery tests and wiper installs, maintaining inventory accuracy, and following safety and operating procedures. English fluency is required, Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach overall targets.
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.).
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.).
• Safely deliver parts to customers when required.
