Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a Salesperson to support the DIY business, helping customers in-store and over the phone with knowledgeable service and parts recommendations. The role covers everyday sales goals, supports battery and wiper installations, and maintains inventory and store standards.

The position may be part-time or full-time, requiring basic driving skills, reliability, and the ability to work various shifts, including weekends. Fluency in English is expected; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
• Basic automotive parts knowledge and familiarity with DIY services.
• English language proficiency; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
