Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

The position can be part-time or full-time and requires flexible days, evenings, and weekends. The role emphasizes excellent customer interactions, DIY services such as battery installations, and accurate inventory handling.

Qualifications

• Experience in a diverse retail environment is preferred.
• Ability to use store systems including POS and parts lookup.
• Basic automotive knowledge and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store hit sales targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain inventory and store standards including stock and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers when needed.
