Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

The position can be part-time or full-time, with duties covering inventory, customer service, and DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements. Candidates should be prepared for varied shifts.

Qualifications

English required; Spanish a plus.
2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
Experience using store systems and POS/parts lookup tools is preferred

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
Hit personal sales targets and help store meet overall goals.
Perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
Maintain store product and operational standards; manage inventory tasks.
Support inventory processes: truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
Ensure store cleanliness and general stocking, including floors, bathrooms, etc.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
