Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. seeks an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service targets. The role requires familiarity with store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and parts sourcing from various channels.

It may be part-time or full-time with an emphasis on safety and accurate inventory handling. You will assist customers in-store and over the phone, perform DIY services like battery tests and installations, and help maintain clean, organized shelves and stock.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• English language skills; Spanish a plus.
• Able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Basic math skills for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
