Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY customer base and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive concepts, and parts expertise, with capacity to source from multiple channels.

Fleet safety certification is preferred. Position can be part-time or full-time, with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers; familiarity with store inventory and maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach overall targets.
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.).
• Maintain store/product and operational standards; manage inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock, etc.).
• Safely deliver parts to customers when needed; stock shelves and back rooms.
