Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced functions of the DIY business. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems, parts knowledge, and the ability to identify and source parts for DIY customers.

The position is full-time with responsibilities including sales achievement, DIY service management, and opening/closing duties. ASE certification is preferred but not required, and a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with GAS2 selling approach in DIY environment.
• Familiarity with parts lookup and POS systems.
• Proven ability to meet sales and service goals.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
