Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and parts knowledge for customers both in-store and by phone. The role requires expert product and system knowledge, a focus on accuracy, and commitment to safety and store standards.

The candidate will perform high-quality service, assist with inventory tasks, and maintain a customer-first environment. ASE certification is preferred; valid driver's license is required for the role.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
