Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and expert parts knowledge. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, perform DIY services such as battery installation and testing, and help maintain store inventory and appearance.

Ideal candidates possess strong automotive knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to read parts catalogs. ASE certification is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and parts identification.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment and open/close duties.
• Assist in store inventory processes and back stock.
