Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert DIY service support and advanced parts knowledge. You will assist customers in-store and over the phone, perform DIY services like battery installations and wiper replacements, and uphold high customer service and store standards.

3–5 years of automotive parts experience and strong parts/system knowledge are expected. ASE certification is preferred; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with fulfillment of customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and instruction manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, open/close duties.
• Assist in store inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
