Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions and provide expert knowledge of store systems and automotive parts. The role focuses on selling, issue resolution, and performing DIY services such as battery installations and testing.

The position requires 3–5 years in automotive parts, a valid driver's license, and strong English communication skills; ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, open/close duties.
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
