Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Sterling, VA is looking for a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert DIY sales, parts lookup support, and battery/wiper services. You will assist customers, manage inventory, and support store operations as a key holder.

The role requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, ASE certification preferred, and strong knowledge of store systems. English proficiency is required; Spanish is a plus. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Able to read safety rules and maintenance instructions; basic math, and use MS Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Ensure high customer service standards and neat store appearance.
• Assume key holder responsibilities including opening/closing and safety tasks.
• Assist in store inventory processes, back stock, cycle counts, and stocking.
