Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver GAS2 selling experiences to DIY customers in store and by phone. You will apply expert knowledge of parts, systems, and diagnostics to assist with advanced projects and sourcing from multiple channels.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in automotive parts sales, strong customer service, and proficiency with Word/Excel. A valid driver’s license is required; ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
Proven sales ability with prior experience in fulfilling customer transactions.
A valid driver’s license is required; ASE certification preferred.
Able to operate inventory and parts lookup systems.
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.

Responsibilities

Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
