Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to assist DIY customers and professional installers with parts lookup, testing, and basic automotive services in a fast paced store. You will leverage store systems and product knowledge to drive GAS2 selling and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong communication, and the ability to work days, evenings and weekends. ASE certification is preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts lookup.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and repair manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes and maintain cleanliness.
