Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. seeks a Retail Parts Pro to deliver GAS2 selling experiences for DIY customers and phone inquiries. You will apply in-depth parts knowledge, assist with vehicle service jobs, and help maintain an orderly, customer-oriented store environment.

We require 3–5 years in automotive parts, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license
• ASE certification preferred but not required
• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, opening/closing duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes and back stock management
