Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. The role combines advanced automotive parts knowledge with expert store systems usage to assist DIY customers in person and over the phone.

You will drive sales, perform battery testing/installation, wiper installs, and other DIY services while maintaining top customer service and store standards. Experience in parts lookup and POS systems is essential, with ASE certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts sales experience.
• Proven sales ability and customer service focus.
• ASE P2 certification or equivalent preferred.
• Able to operate inventory systems and POS.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems.
• Spanish a plus; English required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Perform key holder duties (opening/closing, safety, task delegation).
• Assist in inventory processes (stocking, cycle counts, back stock).
• Support store cleanliness and organization.
