Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. The role combines expert parts knowledge with advanced automotive system understanding to serve DIY customers on sales floors and via phone.

You will handle advanced parts lookup, sourcing, and service tasks, including battery testing and wiper installs, while meeting store sales goals and upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability and fulfillment of customer transactions.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Handle key holder duties including open/close tasks and safety.
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness.
• Operate inventory and POS/parts lookup systems.
