Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States to support advanced DIY sales with strong parts knowledge and store systems competency. The role emphasizes customer service, parts lookup, and efficient service delivery.

You will perform battery installations, testing, wiper installations, and related DIY tasks while maintaining inventory accuracy and store standards. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability and customer service focus.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock, etc.).
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing.
