Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. The role combines advanced automotive knowledge with expert use of store systems to help DIY customers, source parts, and perform services like battery tests and wiper installs.

It requires strong sales ability and reliable, friendly customer interactions across days, evenings, and weekends. We look for 3–5 years in automotive parts, a valid driver's license, and ASE certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past customer transactions.
• Valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, parts catalogs, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, opening/closing duties.
• Assist in inventory processes including cycle counts and stock.
• Operate store POS and parts lookup systems; locate and stock parts.
