Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems, parts, and automotive systems, along with strong customer service and sales skills.

You will support DIY customers, perform services like battery work and wiper installs, and handle key holder duties while maintaining store standards. Candidates should have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, and ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have working knowledge of automotive systems and parts.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
