Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced functions of the DIY business. You will use store systems and parts knowledge to assist customers in person and over the phone, performing services and driving sales.

The role requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, ASE P2 certification or readiness, and a valid driver's license. You will work a full-time schedule with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions.
• ASE P2 certification or ASE ready equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Operate POS and Parts lookup systems.
• Advanced parts lookup and sourcing.
