Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Boston is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services with expert parts knowledge and store systems proficiency. You will assist customers in person and over the phone, perform battery installations and other DIY tasks, and help maintain inventory and store presentation.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong sales ability, and familiarity with parts lookup systems. ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with focus on customer service.
• Experience with parts lookup systems and DIY services.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write simple notes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
