Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and part knowledge in a fast-paced store environment. You will assist DIY customers in person and over the phone, leveraging store systems to locate parts and complete sales efficiently.

The role emphasizes accurate parts identification, strong customer service, and readiness to perform duties including opening/closing tasks and basic DIY service support. ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability in parts fulfillment.
• Experience with inventory processes and store operations.
• ASE certification preferred, not required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers in-store and on the phone.
• Meet or exceed personal and store sales and service goals.
• Manage DIY services such as battery installs and wiper replacements.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Fulfill key holder duties including task assignment and store opening/closing.
