Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert automotive parts knowledge and strong customer service. You will perform advanced parts identification, sourcing, and routine maintenance tasks in a full-time retail setting.

The role requires familiarity with store systems, parts lookup, and diagnostic equipment, with opportunities to advance in inventory management and service delivery. ASE readiness is valued.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience and sales ability.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Handle key holder responsibilities (opening/closing, safety, task assignment).
• Assist in store inventory processes and maintain store cleanliness.
• Support DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
