Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert parts knowledge and high‑level DIY support in our stores across the United States.

You will assist customers both in person and by phone, perform DIY services such as battery installs and wiper changes, manage inventories, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store that meets sales and service goals. Required experience: 3–5 years in automotive parts, a valid driver's license; ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to read parts catalogs and use store systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
