Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert knowledge on store systems and automotive parts. You will assist DIY customers in person and by phone, perform services like battery installation and wiper replacement, and help maintain store standards and inventory.

The role requires 3–5 years of parts experience and strong sales ability. Applicants should have ASE certification preferred and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of automotive systems (engine, suspension, brakes, electronics).
• English speaking and writing required; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance docs; basic math.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Excellent organization and ability to handle multiple days/evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Perform key holder duties (task assignment, safety, open/close).
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness.
