Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge, store systems, and advanced automotive expertise.

This full-time role emphasizes high-quality customer service, inventory management, and hands-on DIY services such as battery installations and wiper changes. The position requires 3–5 years in automotive parts, a valid driver's license, and ASE-related credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with fulfillment of customer transactions.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety manuals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
