Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is looking for a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and part knowledge at our store. You will handle customer visits and phone inquiries, source parts from multiple channels, and help with inventory and store upkeep.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in automotive parts, strong selling skills, and ASE certification is preferred but not required. This role includes full-time hours and multitasking across tasks and customer service responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to identify parts and assist DIY customers.
• Experience with store inventory and checkout processes.
• Familiarity with automotive systems and parts is a plus.
• Able to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities including task assignment and opening/closing duties.
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts.
