Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and parts knowledge in a busy store environment. The role requires expert familiarity with store systems, parts lookup, and automotive diagnostics to assist customers and carry out service tasks.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong selling skills, and a valid driver’s license. ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
