Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States to support advanced DIY sales, with expert knowledge of store systems, parts identification, and diagnostic tools. This full-time role involves assisting customers in-store and by phone, performing DIY services, and maintaining high service and store standards.

Responsibilities include inventory tasks, operating POS and parts lookup systems, and meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred.
• Able to read safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs; basic math.
• English language skills required; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Perform key holder duties including safety, opening/closing tasks.
• Assist in inventory processes: cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems; source from multiple channels.
