Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States to support DIY customers with expert knowledge of store systems and automotive parts. The role emphasizes advanced identification, troubleshooting, and sourcing from multiple channels, and includes responsibilities such as battery installation and part lookup.

The position is full time and requires strong selling skills, customer service, and familiarity with inventory and POS systems.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Ability to locate and stock parts accurately.
• Familiar with inventory and store equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
