Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert parts knowledge and outstanding service to DIY customers in our store. The role requires strong automotive system knowledge, parts lookup skills, and the ability to source from multiple channels.

This full-time, on-site position uses POS and inventory systems to process transactions, manage parts, and support store operations. A valid driver’s license is required; ASE certification is preferred, and prior automotive parts

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts sales experience.
• Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently.
• Excellent communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
