Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert knowledge of store inventory and parts lookup for DIY customers. The role requires strong product knowledge, problem solving, and for advanced automotive systems.

This is a full-time position with responsibilities across sales, service and store operations. Ideal candidates will have ASE certification or be ASE-ready, a valid driver’s license, and comfort using store systems to source parts and manage customer transactions.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive parts and inventory processes.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety instructions.
• Experience with store systems and parts lookup tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
