Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro with strong automotive knowledge to assist DIY customers. You will handle battery installs, testing, wiper services, and parts lookups while meeting sales and service goals in a full-time store role.

The position requires experience in parts sales, familiarity with store systems, and excellent communication. Able to work varied days, evenings, and weekends in a customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Able to operate POS and inventory systems.
• ASE P2 certification or ASE ready equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
