Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions with expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and customer service. The role includes battery installation, testing, wiper installs and advanced parts lookup, with key holder responsibilities and schedule flexibility for days, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements include 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and ASE certification preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
