Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a fundraiser in the NSC-Charleston Corps to strategize, implement, and oversee community relations and development for the command. You will manage donor communications, cultivation, and events, while ensuring strong engagement with advisory organizations and local leadership.

Responsibilities include building a donor portfolio, executing moves management, and coordinating with Interchange to maintain donor data and reporting.

Qualifications

• Three years of major gift fund-raising experience.
• Experience in donor portfolio development and prospect cultivation.
• Ability to implement Moves Management for donors and prospects.

Responsibilities

• Raises funds to enable the Salvation Army's mission in the assigned command.
• Develops and nurtures a Donor Portfolio with individuals, foundations and corporations.
• Creates and implements a Moves Management plan for every donor and prospective donor.
• Responds to donor inquiries and communications professionally and timely.
• Manages donor data entry and use of Interchange according to rules.
