Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking a senior Learning & Development leader to oversee the Advisor Program and internal training functions.

You will collaborate with carriers, agencies, and staff to optimize adoption, conduct regular trainings, and drive strategic talent development aligned with growth plans. You will design blended learning experiences, measure outcomes, and mentor teams while ensuring compliance with policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight or more years proven experience as a learning & development or training professional that designs and delivers by a variety of training methods.
• Experience in instructor led training, workshop delivery, facilitation, leadership development and change management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with carrier or program representatives to understand program rules and document workflows.
• Collaborate with agents, agencies and support staff to optimize program utilization and increase adoption; work with marketing to document CSIs.
• Host regular training sessions and attend meetings as needed.
• Define priorities with divisional stakeholders and drive alignment on initiatives.
• Manage end-to-end learning and development processes including career paths and annual appraisals.
• Design programs using blended learning approaches (coaching, classroom, OJT, e-learning).
• Develop and approve training content and present using various media.
• Create design documents, storyboards, prototypes, presentations, worksheets and job aids.
• Facilitate workshops and Instructor Led Training as appropriate.
• Establish success metrics and evaluate program effectiveness; tailor programs as needed.
• Stay current on training trends and best practices.
• Support integration of M&A activity and growing business needs.
