Job summary

Boise Cascade Company seeks a Division Controller to manage the division's accounting function, drive timely financial reporting, and uphold GAAP/SOX compliance. The role oversees ~20 accounting staff across ~50 locations and leads a team of 5 regional controllers, guiding policy and procedures for the entire division.

The position requires a college degree or equivalent, with 15+ years of related experience and CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• College Degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically, more than 10 years of experience in related accounting/financial roles.
• A minimum of 15 years of progressive accounting/financial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of major accounting software systems and ERP software.
• CPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead division-wide financial reporting to support operating decisions and financial planning.
• Direct GAAP policies and practices and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX.
• Coordinate and oversee external and internal audits for the division.
• Provide leadership to Regional Controllers and accounting staff across locations.
• Oversee capital accounting for Division expenditures and manage internal controls.
