Responsibilities:
Prepare GAAP-compliant monthly financial statements and provide actionable financial analysis to plant, regional, and corporate leadership to support decision-making, pricing, and profitability initiatives. Maintain strong internal controls, safeguard company assets, identify operational risks, support safety initiatives, and ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
What you will do:
- Prepare GAAP-compliant monthly financial statements and manage the month-end close process
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of the general ledger, revenue, expense, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide financial analysis, variance reporting, and insights to support plant, regional, and corporate decision-making
- Develop and manage plant budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Oversee cost accounting, product pricing, margin analysis, and inventory reconciliation
- Maintain effective internal controls, ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and safeguard company assets
- Identify operational risks, unusual transactions, and opportunities for profitability improvement
- Support payroll review, bonus calculations, and accruals; provide backup for payroll processes as needed
- Support internal and external audits and remediate control or policy issues
- Partner with plant leadership on capital expenditures, continuous improvement, cost savings, and safety initiatives
- Support ERP (NAV) financial processes and ensure appropriate user access and segregation of duties
- Lead, develop, and supervise plant accounting staff in partnership with HR
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of manufacturing accounting leadership experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, accounting, and payroll systems
