Job description

Position Summary:

Strong communication, project management and leadership skills required to maintain and improve the SOX Program for all Facilities within the Division. Communication with sites, Division Management and Corporate to ensure that all aspects of the Program are followed and that Division and Corporate Deadlines are met. A “Hands On” approach to training and working with Facility SOX Coordinators to ensure the facilities have a solid, effective control environment and Internal Audit reviews have Satisfactory Results. Leading the Division Sr SOX Analyst to ensure that Deep Dive Audits and Development of best practices to impact overall finding count within the Division.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support, guidance and oversight to facilities through reviewing of testing, and deep dive auditing.
  2. Schedule onboarding of GM/Controllers and Coordinators.
  3. Support the Continuous Improvement effort across the Division.
  4. Lead Deep Dives and Best Practice implementation within the Control Environment.
  5. Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to Division Management.
  6. Participate in Corporate and Division Calls and ensure all requests are being completed.
  7. Project Team Member of Division Finance Projects.
  8. Work with Division Finance to develop new project ideas that will standardize the Control Environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors:

  1. Strong background in Accounting/Finance/SOX and Internal Controls.
  2. Minimum 7 years of progressively increasing responsible assignments working in a large, multi-national, public accounting firm or equivalent.
  3. Strong leadership skills.
  4. Effective communicator to Facility/Division/Corporate.
  5. Solid understanding of Business Process Flows.
  6. Superior organization skills with the ability to work independently.
  7. Strong project management skills.
  8. Flexibility to adapt to ongoing changes/Creative Problem Solving.
  9. Proficiency in team building and collaborating. Effective, clear and precise communication skills.
  10. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and growing organization with strict deadlines.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: College/University Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business.
  2. Project Management Skills.
  3. Licenses or certifications: CPA, Six Sigma or Project Management certification preferred but experience in lieu of Certifications acceptable.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  1. Duties are performed in an office environment as well as a work from home setting while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
  2. Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
  3. Travel (Including International Travel) may be required up to 30%.
