Job summary

Clark Construction is hiring a Division Safety Manager in McLean, VA. You will lead safety culture on projects, enforce safety programs, and coordinate with field teams and subcontractors to implement site-specific plans.

The role emphasizes education, hazard mitigation, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. You will mentor safety staff, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and participate in third-party reviews.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction safety experience with related degree.
• Ability to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partners.
• Proof of training in crane, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds, and heavy equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Clark safety culture on a project.
• Oversee safety of employees, trade partners and the general public on jobsites.
• Enforce safety and health programs per federal, state and local standards.
• Mentor safety staff and assist in their development.
• Develop project-specific safety programs and education for jobsite personnel.
• Collaborate with field supervision to integrate hazard mitigation in planning.
