Synerfac Technical Staffing has an opening for a Division Payroll Specialist in Sterling, VA. The contract role covers weekly payroll for union employees, with timekeeping accuracy and compliance across multiple states.

Responsibilities include processing payroll, maintaining records, and supporting PTO reporting, with benefits and a company bonus program. Requires 4+ years payroll in construction, Excel proficiency, and relevant accounting/finance degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of payroll and other finance function experience within the construction industry, union experience highly preferred.
• Proficiency in computer usage with intermediate to expert Excel skills, and prior experience using various payroll processing and reporting systems.
• Bachelor's/Associate's Degree in Accounting/Finance highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes weekly payroll for union employees at the division level across multiple states.
• Works with union employees and supervisors to ensure time is approved, captured, and processed accurately and timely.
• Administers accurate employee payroll records, including new hire paperwork, payroll form updates, status change forms, and terminations.
• Helps monitor and track employee paid time off balances and provides updated reports to management.
